About Artscope

Artscope fosters emotional well-being, expansive and intentional inclusivity, and environmental harmony through imaginative art, dialogue, and visionary play.

Founded in 2002, Artscope began as a place for children to come together and explore the creative arts; led by a small, dedicated group of local artists, nestled in a historic cottage studio in Tower Grove Park. For twenty years, we continued to invest in our community, expand our programming, and grow our understanding of practicing creativity in St. Louis. Today, you can find Artscope Teaching Artists heading school art programs, leading specialized workshops in local spaces, directing nature walks and, sometimes, parades down a stream… the options are endless! We are passionate about creating impactful and direct solutions to minimize community barriers to creative expression, and we need your help!
